Tangy Cafe

Probably my favourite cafe in markham. So good in fact I have added this to my favourites group in google maps. Coffee / espresso drinks are good. Nice and smooth and strong enough with no lingering aftertaste. Their in house made pastries are delicious too. I have had the black sesame mochi filled cookie. The mochi was a nice surprise as I didn’t know it was a piece inside at first! Also had their pistachio cruffin which had a pool of pistachio cream and the must try item is their pulls apart monkey bread. This was so addictive to eat. Looks like a croissant cube but even tastier than that imo Service is on point. The owners are super friendly and cannot mention enough about them. They really go out of their way to make sure your experience is enjoyable even when there is lineups. They also have a loyalty stamp card where if you visit a certain amount of times, you can get a feee item, I believe. The place is small but the finishing touches they do really make this a modern yet cozy feel. Not much seating, only a bar table with about 3 seats. Parking can be tough as this plaza can get very busy. But if you’re coming for your morning cup, you will have lots of parking available. Great job overall! Definitely will keep coming here.

Tangy Cafe is a small space, not much seating but the drinks were delicious. We got the seasonal strawberry drinks; Strawberry Hojicha ($7.30) and Strawberry Matcha ($7.30). These drinks only come cold. They matcha was smooth and I was happy to taste both the matcha and strawberry flavours, sometimes one overpowers the other. The staff were super kind, even going out of their way to open the door for customers. Highly recommended this spot!

Very cute cafe with interesting drinks. Got the strawberry mocha with the perfect amount of sweetness and I feel like by default they give you less ice so you can have more drink. Barista and girl at the register were so lovely and gracious. Great addition to the Markham cafe scene.

The cutest little coffee shop with the friendliest service and most delicious, ifresh-baked (in house ) pastries! The apple miso maple tart was divine, heated up. The drinks are crafted with care and are different from the usual, in a good way. Of course standard options are also available. Pictured is an iced strawberry mocha with oat milk. Also had a caramel latte(not pictured). Both were so good!

Wow. Totally deserve the high google ratings! The staffs were so kind and helpful, service is amazing, which isn't always the case for takeout coffee shop. There were two window seats that we were lucky enough to snatch. The croissant sandwiches are great value and very delicious. I had a dirty matcha and my friend had an orange juice espresso? Fizz. Both delicious and interesting! Can't wait to come back! Thank you!

I recently found this cafe run by Taiwanese owners, and I’m so glad I did! The owners and staff were super friendly and welcoming. It was a really nice experience. Hojicha Latte One of my favorites! The sweetness was just right. The hojicha flavor was rich and smooth. Very comforting and well-balanced. Americano Fizz Bubbly and very refreshing! Perfect if you’re tired or about to go on a long road trip — it helps you stay awake and feel more alert. Sea Salt Chocolate Scookie This was interesting! It had a slightly salty taste from the sea salt, which made the chocolate flavor even better. Fruit Custard Danish (Grape) The grapes were sweet and juicy, and the custard in the middle added a nice creamy touch. The pastry was flaky and buttery. I also tried the Hazelnut Latte on a previous visit, and it was excellent — smooth, nutty, and perfectly balanced. Highly recommend!

This was such a lovely little spot to get coffee and baked goods! The store owners greeted us with such warmth and kindness, making for a pleasant introduction. The baked goods are homemade and made in house. We tried the croissant tart, almond croissant, black sesame scookie, and matcha scookie - all were delicious and fresh! The croissant tart was perfectly flaky, and the tart filling had just the right amount of sweetness. The almond croissant was also wonderfully flaky, and they didn’t skimp on the filling! We also enjoyed the iced caramel latte and hazelnut latte. I would definitely come back here for amazing quality and friendly atmosphere!

The cutest cafe with the tastiest drinks and the sweetest staff! I will rarely review cafes but this place deserves all the amazing reviews they get! I’ve tried many of the drinks, all of them are delicious and I love that they give tons of milk alternative options like soy milk!! Recently tried their strawberry matcha and it was perfection! Definitely gonna become my go-to drink!
